“Sixty Years of Philosophy in America” by Ernest Sosa
Ernest Sosa is Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, where he has taught since 2007. Prior to joining the faculty at Rutgers, he taught at Brown University. He has a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh. His areas of specialization include epistemology, metaphysics, philosophy of mind, and moral epistemology. His books include A Virtue Epistemology (Oxford University Press, 2007), Reflective Knowledge (Oxford University Press, 2009), and Knowing Full Well (Princeton University Press, 2011). He was elected to the American Academy of Arts & Sciences in 2001. Sosa was president of the APA Eastern Division in 2004–2005.
