“Five Decades of Philosophy” by Robert Audi

Robert Audi is the John A. O’Brien Professor of Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame. He earned his BA from Colgate University and his MA and PhD from the University of Michigan. Audi has also taught at the University of Texas at Austin and at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. His work has focused on ethics and political philosophy, epistemology, philosophy of mind and action, and philosophy of religion. His books include Means, Ends, and Persons: The Meaning and Psychological Dimensions of Kant’s Humanity Formula (Oxford University Press, 2016), Moral Perception (Princeton University Press, 2013), Epistemology: A Contemporary Introduction to the Theory of Knowledge (Routledge, 2010), Practical Reasoning and Ethical Decision (Routledge, 2006), and The Good in the Right: A Theory of Intuition and Intrinsic Value (Princeton University Press, 2004). Audi served as president of the Central Division of the American Philosophical Association in 2001–2002.
