New OUP Prize for Teaching with Technology Announced

The American Philosophical Association and Oxford University Press are pleased to announce the establishment of a new prize recognizing outstanding use of technology in the teaching of philosophy and philosophical pedagogy by philosophers at a junior career stage. The Oxford University Press Teaching with Technology Prize is funded through the generosity of Oxford University Press.

One prize of $2,000 and potentially one honorable mention prize of $500 will be awarded annually. Nominations must include (a) a brief statement of no more than 500 words summarizing how the nominee(s) use technology in their teaching, (b) the curriculum vitae of the nominee(s), and (c) up to 5 supplementary materials illustrating the use of technology, such as screenshots and links to online videos.

We now invite submissions for the inaugural Oxford University Press Teaching with Technology Prize. The submission deadline is February 25, 2024.
