The events at the Capitol in January 2021 present a stark reminder of how democracy must be carefully cultivated. It is easy for violence, power, and conspiracy to overwhelm practices of civic engagement. The following collection of pieces is presented as part of an attempt to help reinvigorate our society’s understanding of and reflection on democracy.
