APA Central and Eastern Divisions announce appointments of new secretary-treasurers

Beginning in January 2017, two of the APA’s divisions will have new secretary-treasurers. Secretary-treasurers are the administrators for the divisions and are primarily responsible for planning and organizing the divisional meetings and managing the divisions’ budgets.

The executive committee of the Central Division is pleased to announce that Elyse Purcell will be the next secretary-treasurer of the division. She will assume the position of associate secretary-treasurer on May 1, 2016, and will take on the position of secretary-treasurer on January 15, 2017, for a term ending June 30, 2021.

The executive committee of the Eastern Division is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Dunn, associate professor of philosophy at DePauw University, will be the next secretary-treasurer of the division. He assumed the position of secretary-treasurer-designate on April 1, 2016, and will take on the position of secretary-treasurer on January 1, 2017, for a term ending June 30, 2020.
