Announcing Skye Cleary as Next Lead Editor

APA Blog logo

It is with very great pleasure that I announce Skye Cleary’s appointment to a three year term as Lead Editor of the Blog of the APA, starting July 1st, 2018.  Skye has been part of the team since before the blog launched, and has been an integral part of the blog’s success so far, and I am excited to see what new developments and changes she will bring about as Lead Editor.

You are no doubt familiar with much of Skye’s work on the blog, having seen it posted week after week for these past several years, but you are probably not aware of the immense amount of additional work Skye has done behind the scenes to keep the blog running smoothly, to assist me and the other editors, and to start new blog initiatives.  Having Skye as a managing editor and colleague has been an immense help, and a great joy.  I cannot think of a better choice of Lead Editor.

In addition to her role on the blog, Skye is associate director of the Center for New Narratives in Philosophy at Columbia University, and she teaches at Columbia University, Barnard College, and the City College of New York. She is the author of Existentialism and Romantic Love and her work has been published in Aeon, the Los Angeles Review of BooksThe Paris Review, and others.

Please join me in warmly congratulating Skye on her appointment!
