APA Blog’s Journal Survey Project: Update

Recently, the Blog introduced the Journal Survey Project, which helps philosophers navigate the journals submission process by collecting and presenting data about each journal (review time, quality of comments, etc.).

Several members requested access to the raw data in addition to the processed statistics. That is now available via this link.

We hope this data will be of use in the future!

To submit your own experiences with academic journals, fill out our survey. Up-to-date results from the survey can be found here.

  1. Thank you for adding raw data, which, as previous posters have noted, are essential for tracking trends. Unfortunately, new reports do not appear to be being added. For several leading journals I checked (Philosophical Studies, Ethics, PPR, JPhil), the most recent ones appear to have been filed in mid-2016.
